Dr. Pashna Munshi from MedStar Georgetown, will share her expertise in the field of stem cell transplantation. 

This program will address questions that blood cancer patients and caregivers face in relation to transplant as a treatment modality for blood cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, and will include information on the various types of transplants used in the treatment of blood cancer, address side effect management, including graft vs. host disease (GVHD) and veno-occlusive disease (V1OD), as we1ll as share resources for blood cancer patients and caregivers.  

This program is a collaboration with LLS and will include a light dinner.
