Jill Walling
Jill joined Hope Connections in the summer of 2025, returning to Montgomery County where she held her first post-college job with the Boys and Girls Club of Montgomery County. She grew up in what she describes as a small village in Iowa, which she happily left behind to become a Washingtonian.
Jill has worked for marketing and fundraising agencies, creating and managing promotions and fundraising campaigns for dozens of organizations—from small, local nonprofits to large, multinational organizations. She left agency work to join National Geographic where she launched a successful membership program for leadership-level donors.
Closely related to her work with Hope Connections, Jill directed a fundraising program to support colorectal cancer patients and efforts to end colorectal cancer. Most recently, she applied for government and other grants to support the advancement of pediatric clinical studies for the development of new treatments for children.
Jill is deeply committed to bringing Hope Connections’ programs to those in our community and beyond. In her leisure time, she enjoys classical music, reading, and spending time with her husband and their irrepressible Jack Russell terrier.
