Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is a gentle yoga practice accessible to participants of any level of strength and flexibility. Using a chair to modify traditional yoga poses, the class is done while seated, or standing and using the chair for support. Every class includes stretches and movement geared to help increase strength, endurance and flexibility. Classes also focus on breathing and meditation, which can reduce anxiety, lower the blood pressure, and benefit your emotional wellbeing and overall health.
Tuesday Evening Bereavement Support Group
This professionally facilitated support group is for individuals who have lost a loved one to cancer. Learn new ways of coping and connect with others who are going through a similar experience.
Gentle Yoga

These classes combine stretching, breathing, and relaxation exercises to help improve muscle tone, aid in stress management, and promote a sense of well-being.

Our Boutique features new and gently used women's clothing and accessories with 100% of our sales going to support the free and professionally led programs offered at Hope Connections. These special programs have been designed to help people with cancer and their loved ones deal with the emotional and physical impact of cancer.

Facilitator Judy Goldstein provides new opportunities every month for participants to express themselves through art. No art experience is necessary.
LGBTQ+ Cancer Group
This monthly support group is designed for adults diagnosed with cancer who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community. The group is facilitated by a culturally competent social worker, who provides a safe space to connect with others and explore your own unique experience with cancer.
Caregivers are welcome to attend with their loved one.
Having Difficult Conversations
When people are facing a shortened life expectancy, Hospice can be there to help. Hospice Care is patient-centered, and it involves mind, body, and spirit. The difficult conversation from curative treatment to comfort care is rarely easy. Miriam Rendon-Ponce with Hospice of the Chesapeake will be leading this important discussion. Mind/Body Boxing
Eric Govan (Professional boxer, Master Trainer, Founder at Mind/Body Boxing), will teach you to heighten your mental, physical and spiritual strength through boxing fitness, yoga and meditation.
Pilates
This class is designed for cancer survivors. Healthy lifestyle and positive body image are part of the experience as participants are challenged to regain strength and mobility.
