Team Hope’s Main Events Are Scheduled Three Times a Year

The American Odyssey Relay is for serious runners in 12 person teams, each running 3 legs of a 200 mile, 2 day relay that starts in Gettysburg and ends at the Wharf in Washington, DC. , with a great party. The race is held in late April.
There is a $500 fundraising requirement with $100 going toward Registration. Hope Connections also receives donations for all volunteers it provides to the race. No running required to volunteer. Just bring your spirit and cheer runners on. A great team building opportunity.

Rock the Creek Relay is for casual runners, who can run up to 5 mile legs. RTC is a usually held in late September, on a Sunday morning. Party with us after the race.
There is a $300 fundraising requirement with $100 going toward Registration. Corporations may satisfy the fundraising requirement by sponsoring a team for $1,800. Hope Connections also receives donations for all volunteers it provides to the race. No running required to volunteer. Just bring your spirit and cheer runners on. A great team building opportunity.

Smore’s & More 5k Walk/Run is a beautiful way to spend a relaxing Saturday morning in October. Run or walk 5k for a good cause in Kensington Park. Starting from Rock Creek Trail, Beach Drive and Cedar Lane, in Bethesda, anyone can tackle this course and have a great time doing it. Join us for all things smore’s, coffee, medals and more when you are done.
There is a $50 registration fee and we encourage fundraising by offering a Hope Connections T-shirt and medal for $100 of fundraising, and a Hope Connections fleece for fundraising at the $300 level and above.
