Abigail Bortnick

Vice Chair

Abigail joined the Board at Hope Connections in 2018, where she is currently the Vice Chair.  She has served as Treasurer and been an active participant on the gala committee.

An attorney, Abigail is the Assistant General Counsel, International Regulatory Compliance for Leidos, a Fortune 500 company that brings innovative solutions to the toughest scientific and engineering problems for civil, defense, health, and intelligence customers.  At Leidos, which has been repeatedly named as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Institute, Abigail helps ensure that all personnel and intermediaries that conduct business with Leidos comply with international anti-corruption laws.  She previously practiced with international law firm King & Spalding, where for over 15 years she defended clients in sensitive investigations by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Internal Revenue Service, and other government regulators.

A breast cancer survivor at age 36, she loves to connect with and be a resource for young women going through similar experiences.  Her greatest role in life is mommy to her daughter and son, with whom she loves to read, dance, and play soccer.
