    Practice mindfulness mind/body self-care to nurture your stress, emotional health and spiritual strength. What we focus on in our thoughts and energy grows. When we’re compassionate with ourselves and others, then we can uplift our world and life.

  • Hypnosis for Symptom Reduction

    Hypnosis has been shown to decrease pain, anxiety, and stress when facing a cancer diagnosis.  Don Pelles, a certified hypnotherapist, will teach self-hypnosis techniques that will assist in the management of these symptoms. Caregivers are welcome, and we hope you will join us for this wellness class.

  • Young Adult Hot Topics: Cancer & Resiliency

    Through reflective writing practices, Kara Woodshank will explore purpose, why purpose matters, and how to find and live with purpose.

    Through both research and her personal experience as a young adult cancer survivor, Kara has seen the many benefits of finding and using purpose and she’s excited to help you find the same!

    Paula Ernst, LMSW will explore what children understand and experience at different ages, tips for having a good conversation, resources for helping your child thrive through this time, and more.

  • Tai Chi

    Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that is practiced as a system of exercise, and that consists of a series of postures performed slowly and continuously with relaxed abdominal breathing. It is sometimes called moving meditation and it can be practiced without any special equipment. It’s sure to help with joint flexibility, balance and calming the mind.
