  • Finding Humor in Grief’s Shadow

    How can humor and grief work hand in hand? We’ll explore how humor provides meaningful relief during the grieving journey.

    Through art-making - because we are all artists - we’ll honor our experiences while discovering how creative expression and moments of levity can coexist with deep loss.

    This program is available to everyone (patients/survivors/caregivers/bereaved) and hope you will join us.

  • Functional Movement

    Recurring

    Functional Fitness is all about exercises that helps you do the things you do every day—like lifting, bending, reaching, and walking—with more ease and confidence. We’ll use things like bodyweight, dumbbells, and bands to help build strength, balance, and flexibility. Great for all fitness levels, and perfect if you want to feel good and stay active.

  • Hypnosis for Symptom Reduction

    Recurring

    Hypnosis has been shown to decrease pain, anxiety and stress as well as other symptoms related to cancer treatment. Certified hypnotherapist Don Pelles will teach self-hypnosis techniques that will assist in the management of these symptoms.

    This class is designed for cancer survivors. Healthy lifestyle and positive body image are part of the experience as participants are challenged to regain strength and mobility.

  • Advanced Cancer Group

    Recurring

    This professionally facilitated support group is for individuals diagnosed with metastatic cancer. Learn new ways of coping and connect with others who are going through a similar experience.

  • Expressive Writing as Self-Care 

    A cancer diagnosis can bring up many complicated feelings and emotions. One tool to help navigate, untangle, and reprocess our experiences is expressive writing. Whether you write in the form of journaling, personal essay/memoir, or poetry, having a creative outlet can be a helpful and healing experience! 

    Join poet and personal essayist and breast cancer survivor, Pam Mathison-Levitt, to learn more about how you can use writing as part of your self-care! All levels welcome. 

  • Blood Cancer Support Group

    This professionally facilitated support group is for individuals diagnosed with a blood cancer. Learn new ways of coping and connect with others who are going through a similar experience. Caregivers are welcome.

  • Prostate Cancers Group

    This professionally facilitated support group is for men who have been diagnosed with any type of cancer. Learn new ways of coping and connect with others who are going through a similar experience.

  • Strength & Balance

    Recurring

    Carole Moskowitz will lead you in a unique exercise class designed to improve your strength, balance, and posture, as well as your sense of well-being! All levels of fitness are welcome. Chairs available. All levels of fitness are welcome. Chairs available.

  • Connecting With Nature

    Larry Bricker will help us tune into our senses, using nature, to create relaxation and revitalization. We hope you will join us! Please note, in bad weather, we will bring nature inside.

  • Relaxation and Tranquility

    Recurring

    Let your body feel relaxation and your mind experience tranquility. Led by Larry Bricker, M.Ed. & Reiki Master, you will learn techniques to minimize pain, reduce stress and increase feelings of wellness.
